Israel Adesanya was watching UFC 292 and he filmed his live reaction to the key fights.
This past Saturday (August 19), UFC 292 took place inside the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. In the headliner, Sean O’Malley challenged Aljamain Sterling for the top bantamweight prize in the UFC. O’Malley was a betting underdog going into the fight, but it was his patience and counter punching that took him to the promised land.

Israel Adesanya Reacts To Sean O’Malley Stopping Aljamain Sterling
Ahead of UFC 292, Israel Adesanya predicted that Sean O’Malley would fulfill his destiny by becoming the new UFC Bantamweight Champion. “The Last Stylebender” was right, as O’Malley scored a second-round TKO finish over the “Funk Master.” Adesanya chimed in with some words after the “Sugar” show captured UFC gold for the first time.
“That is destiny, man.” Adesanya said in a video posted on his YouTube channel. “What did I say? He’s gonna touch him, he’s gonna knock him out. Take the moment in, son. It’s called destiny, man.”
Adesanya also saw the UFC 292 co-main event prior to O’Malley’s big title win. Weili put her strawweight gold on the line against a tough Amanda Lemos. The UFC Middleweight Champion was in awe of Weili having no wasted motion in any of her ground-and-pound strikes.
“She is strong,” Adesanya said. “Look at how strong she is. She’s just pinning her leg down. Powerful shots, Jesus. These are no baby shots, bro.”
The next time the UFC returns to pay-per-view, it’ll be Israel Adesanya getting top billing. He’ll put his middleweight title on the line against Sean Strickland in the main event of UFC 293 in Sydney, Australia. Adesanya was expected to meet Dricus du Plessis in the headliner, but “DDP” wasn’t going to be healed in time after his sensational performance over Robert Whittaker back in July.
