If watching Entourage over the last few years has taught me anything, it’s to take the superhero movie money and run. Vinny Chase had to swallow his pride, deal with his love for Mandy Moore and be Aquaman. Michael Keaton was Mr Mom and a dead guy with green hair before he became far and away the best Batman. And Tobey Maguire, oh Tobey. He went from from being the hitchhiker in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas to the webslinger himself, Spiderman. Doing this can open a world of opportunities in sequels and…I dunno, toys and stuff.
In other words: do it Page. I will go see it. Over the past 40 years, Luke Cage has rocked the Marvel stable of superheroes with his steel-hard skin and and super strength, putting himself out for hire superhero style. The guy fights alongside the Hulk and Dr Strange, he has to be cool to do that. It’s a perfect role for Quinton Jackson. Watch this interview where Rampage reveals that he has indeed met with Marvel and is in talks to play the lead role in the Luke Cage movie.
