If you get in the cage with a guy that has a Mortal Kombat tattoo, you will be a victim of a walk-off KO

You should all be disappointed if the next edition of Mortal Kombat doesn’t have a cheat code that harnesses the power of a Mike Russow’s last-second, hail mary punch at UFC 114. It was the first conscious scrambler Todd Duffee felt in his career, which subsequently earned him a ticket out of the UFC heavyweight division. The greatest accomplishment that I’ve ever witnessed was a pizza delivery guy defeating Mortal Kombat 2 without losing a single round with only one quarter. The moon landing was cool, but I didn’t see it live. That Friday night, inside the 7-11 corner store off of Beltline and Garland road in the DFW area, I was in the presence of awesomeness — and it was awesome.

This same level of awesomeness can also be felt in this clip from Britain’s ‘Shock and Awe’ welterweight title fight between Alexi Roberts and Andy Kerr. Roberts is the guy that has the Mortal Kombat logo tattooed over his right pectoral muscle, a clear indication that when Raiden descends from the Netherrealm to look for opponents for the next Mortal Kombat tournament, he should be one of them. Here’s a heads up, MMA fighters. Never get in the cage with a dude that has a Mortal Kombat tattoo. It means that he doesn’t have to get you low on health to pull off a fatality — it can happen at will. Props to Ben Cartlidge for the find.
