Viral internet sensation Hasbulla Magomedov, affectionately known as ‘Mini Khabib’ revealed that he has signed a deal with the UFC.

For those unfamiliar, Hasbulla is a social media star who rose to prominence during the worldwide shutdown of practically everything during the COVID-19 pandemic. Capturing the hearts of the MMA community, Hasbulla has appeared alongside UFC President Dana White and some of the biggest stars in the promotion.

When reports first surfaced that the 3’4″ star had signed a five-year deal with the UFC, many assumed it would be part of a social media marketing campaign or something akin. However, a recent post by the half-pint warrior confirms that he has “officially signed a deal to fight” in the UFC.

“The rumors are true. I have officially signed a deal to fight in the UFC! Details will be revealed by the end of the year. Thank you to @ufc , @danawhite , @khabib_nurmagomedov , @sungurov_usa , @justinozuna and everyone who helped make this dream become a reality. All my fans will be able to buy a Hasbulla fight kit soon on UFC.com and hasbulla.com.”

When and how exactly a fight featuring the 40-pound Hasbulla happens inside the Octagon is anyone’s guess, but perhaps will get some answers from the man himself on October 22nd. Hasbulla along with UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov is scheduled to be in the corner of Islam Makhachev when he meets Charles ‘Do Bronx’ Oliveira for the vacant lightweight championship at UFC 280.

Francis Ngannou Calls For UFC Title Fight With Hasbulla in Hilarious Tweet

UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has been on the shelf since successfully defending his title against Ciryl Gane at UFC 270. Scheduled to return in the first quarter of 2023 following his recovery from knee surgery, ‘The Predator’ is rumored to take on light heavyweight great Jon Jones who will be making his long-awaited heavyweight debut. According to a recent post on Twitter, Ngannou may have other plans in mind.

Responding to the news that Hasbulla had signed with the UFC, Ngannou called for a fight with the 19-year-old on Twitter with the promotional artwork ready to go.

“I think I have my next title defence,” Tweeted Ngannou.

With Ngannou outweighing Hasbulla by more than 200 pounds, the only commission likely to approve that match-up would reside in Russia.
