With Strikeforce’s upcoming demise and the UFC lightweight division sifted of all title contenders, Dana White has looked to Strikeforce lightweight champ Gilbert Melendez as the next member of team 209 to attempt to defeat current indomitable force Benson Henderson. Gilbert, always the guy to settle LayzieTheSavage down from the title talk, placed a figurative palm out to relax our cameraman of the stars to remind him that nothing is certain until contracts are signed and handshakes are made. But still, both dudes seem pretty excited.
