Georges St-Pierre continues to tease UFC comeback in 2019

Georges St-Pierre comeback

The year is 2025 and Georges St-Pierre is still teasing another UFC comeback. One day Georges St-Pierre will really retire from MMA but today (Oct. 15) is not that day.

St-Pierre is rocking that “fight every two years” schedule and its the ultimate tease. When we last saw St-Pierre he was moving up in weight and winning UFC belts. St-Pierre packed on 15 extra pounds then went out and upset Michael Bisping for the UFC 185 pound title.

Then he just retired. Again.

Prior to that win at UFC 217 in November 2017, St-Pierre was comfortably retried for four good years. Just four years of not training for a fight. Four years of letting his body heal. And four years of not getting punched in the face.

Then St-Pierre came back, saved an UFC event and ran off into the night like Batman. Like Batman but much more French Canadian.

One year later, and our Canadian GOAT is still tempting us with one more return to the cage. Is he serious this time? Who would St-Pierre face?

We don’t think St-Pierre even really knows but he sure does love the attention.

While appearing on the Helwani Show on ESPN The Ocho, GSP was asked about fighting for the UFC again.

The biggest takeaway here is that Georges St-Pierre has no interest in fighting the UFC middleweight or welterweight champions when he comes back. So those two divisions basically lost their red (and white) panty nights. The GSP God is not coming down from the Canadian wilderness to bestow upon you PPV points.

GSP vs. Khabib? GSP vs. Conor? GSP vs. Spider Silva? Yes. Maybe. LOL of course not because we all want it.

  1. I think it will be Khabib vs GSP. It only makes sense because Khabib holds great respect for GSP and this picture of GSP is the thinnest I have ever seen him. He is cutting weight in preparation for a fight at Lightweight. He has given several indications that he is interested. The question here is, who will Khabib fight first…Mayweather LOL, Conor or GSP or will it be all of them?
