Ever since Daniel Cormier pulled out with an injury last night, the internet has been clamoring and ships to transport Earth’s Warriors have left shore. It is not the kombatants themselves who sent for the boats, but Jon Jones himself. Jones wants fresh blood at UFC 197, and it’s fresh blood he’ll get.
The first announced opponent was from Jones’ PR representative but was quickly deleted stating they jumped the gun.

Rumble Johnson would be the ideal match-up considering he was probably next in line anyway, however it seems that is off the table now. Other names who received scrolls to meet Jones in Mortal Kombat were Gustafsson, Rashad Evans and Ovince St. Preux.
Ask and you shall receive: I'm told Ovince St. Preux is now a serious player in all of this. New serious candidate to fight Jones on 4/23.

Luckily, Jon Jones released a video giving his word that this fight will happen and that he’s also open to an opponent at Heavyweight. Who will test their might?
UPDATE: Dana White just announced on SportsCenter that Jon Jones will fight Ovince St. Preux at UFC 197 for the Interim Light Heavyweight title.
