Don’t tell Jon Fitch to be nice to BJ Penn, he’s not in the mood, OK?

Yesterday Bauzen, Gary LaPlante, LayzieTheSavage and I all agreed after an intense five minute discussion that Jon Fitch Vs. Ben Askren would be a stand up war for the ages. A brawl up to the Griffin/Bonnar standard, no doubt. Either that or both men would initiate a takedown and just kind of get stuck in mid-air, glitching out until the referee went to the Xbox dashboard or just reset the console (don’t do this, you may lose data). You see Ben Askren on the Frate Trane list, and say what you will about Fitch’s fight style, no one could defeat him for years. There is no denying his high level in MMA or Skyrim.

Irony aside, Fitch wants to finish his business with BJ Penn. There has been no love lost between the two welterweights since they fought a year and a half ago in Australia. In this interview with our buds at FightHub TV, Fitch explains why he’s pushing for another BJ fight and why he’s not in the mood to be nice to The Prodigy. It’s a good one.
