Tuning in to UFC Hidalgo, everyone wanted to see if Uriah Hall was going to spinning hook kick some dude and make him look like E.T.s dead body laying in a creak. This fight between Hall and Derek Brunson had fireworks written all over it and most didn’t predict it would go many rounds at all. After all, Brunson had finished his last 3 fights in the first round. Turns out… it wouldn’t be any different.
BOOM! @DerekBrunson flattens Uriah Hall with a monster left hand to get the TKO stoppage. #UFCHidalgo https://t.co/oxDXEsRv8y

Brunson ran out like a demon and straight up merced Hall. Of course, many complained it was an early stoppage but there is a fine line between intelligent defense, letting a guy work and how much damage you want the fighter to take. Either way, Brunson adds another first round KO to his list and begs for a title shot.
