Ah, the Darce or what it was originally called D’arce (named after Renzon BB Joe D’arce), otherwise know to Brazilians as the Brabo choke. Now not to get all technical but the Brabo/Darce is just a variation of the arm triangle in reverse. Once you learn the simplicity of the choke you will find it in all sorts of places – top or bottom. Check out this sweet hybrid of the Darce that is very similar to the Peruvian Necktie. It combines the darce/brabo choke with the leg positioning of the triangle choke. This variation comes in handy when your opponent is defending the normal application.
