Dana White Claims Khabib Nurmagomedov Won’t Leave UFC!

Dana White: “We Worked Everything Out, Obviously Khabib Nurmagomedov Was A Little Fired Up, He Is Staying”

Let’s hope this is the end of drama between Khabib Nurmagomedov and UFC. Dana White, one of the biggest fans of Conor McGregor, claims The Eagle won’t leave the promotion at all! According to the interview he gave to TMZ Sports, Khabib ain’t quitting UFC. Dana mentions that “a lot can happen in a week”. (via MMAMania.com)

“We’re good. We are good with Khabib. You guys are still posting that shit. It happened a week ago. A lot happens in a week in this business,” said White.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is sick and tired of being treated differently than Conor McGregor. He threatened to leave the promotion after UFC removed his comrade Zubaira Tukhugov off the match versus Artem Lobov. Michael Johnson stepped in as the replacement for UFC Fight Night 138 on October 27, 2018. But is Dana White going to let Zubaira Tukhugov fight ever again? Khabib was more than clear – he quits if Tukhugov can’t keep his job!

Dana White actually praises Khabib Nurmagomedov. He is not thrilled by the incident. Yet, he understands The Eagle was overwhelmed by the emotions. He thinks “Khabib is a great guy”.

“We are good, we worked everything out. We are going to get everything worked out. Obviously he was a little upset, a little fired up. We will get it all worked,” he added. “Guys get very emotional and that was a very emotional fight for him, obviously. At the end of the day, Khabib is a great guy and we have always had a great relationship. He’s staying.”

Yet, Dana White didn’t give the answer everybody wanted to hear. Despite he was pressed to talk about Zubaira Tukhugov, White wasn’t clear at all!

“I don’t know what will happen, we will see how it plays out,” he added.

If Dana doesn’t change his story again, it means UFC is not ready to risk Khabib Nurmagomedov! What do you think, will Zubaira Tukhugov fight again?
