Conor McGregor shared a UFC Fight Pass leak that potentially revealed his upcoming fight with Michael Chandler is scheduled for December.

Over the past two years, McGregor has been working toward returning to action after suffering a gruesome leg injury against Dustin Poirier in July 2020. Earlier this year, the former two-division UFC champion coached The Ultimate Fighter Season 31 against Chandler.

The coaches of TUF tend to fight at the end of the season, which was the plan for ‘The Notorious’ and ‘Iron.’

Unfortunately, McGregor hasn’t re-joined the USADA drug-testing pool since his injury, preventing the date of his Octagon return from being officially announced.

McGregor was seeking an exemption from USADA’s mandatory six months of random drug testing. After months of optimism, ‘The Notorious declared earlier this month that his return would be in 2024.

It didn’t take long for the Dublin native to later announce a December fight was back on the table.

Earlier this week, a fan noticed UFC Fight Pass had a countdown for December 16, with McGregor and Chandler featured as the main event. ‘The Notorious’ further stirred the pot by re-sharing the image on Twitter, leading people to believe the must-see matchup is official.

The UFC has not confirmed nor denied the rumors.

Conor McGregor is considered the biggest superstar in UFC history. Regardless of the situation, fans are always going to be excited for a McGregor fight week. Once ‘The Notorious’ shared the potential UFC Fight Pass leak, fans filled the comment section with excitement, including some people saying the following:

“WE GATHER HERE TODAY TO COMMEMORATE THE SIZE OF THIS W”

McGregor is riding a two-fight losing streak after suffering back-to-back defeats against Dustin Poirier. The 35-year-old plans to silence the doubters upon his return and get back in the win column.

Meanwhile, Michael Chandler has emerged as a superstar after fighting in the UFC five times. He last fought in November 2022, losing against Poirier by a third-round submission to push his promotional record to 2-3.
