Conor McGregor has been speaking his mind on politics a lot as of late, and this time he has a scathing diss towards a Senator in Ireland.
McGregor has been quite vocal about issues in his home country. More recently, McGregor called for immigration reform following the murder of Ashling Murphy. Of course, the “Notorious” one has his share of supporters, but his detractors believe McGregor is promoting hostility in Ireland and doesn’t truly care about the people.

McGregor has taken to his X account to return fire with a scathing response to Senator Flynn.
“Senator Eileen Flynn has said she wouldn’t nominate me to wash the dishes,” McGregor said. “How disrespectful. Senator, I nominate you to brush your teeth and see the dentist because if ever there was a cause to bring back masks I would call for it. You weren’t even voted in, you were nominated as a token. So, I’d appreciate less of the disrespect and mask up, please. God bless ya.”
The former two-division UFC champion went on to say that people are tired of the current political regime and are ready to force a change in office.
“Myself, along with the entire nation of real Ireland, true Ireland are absolutely fed up with it,” McGregor said. “… Change is coming for the benefit of Ireland, for the progression of Ireland. We have had enough and it is time that our nation stands up. So, stay ready.”
As McGregor gets more involved in discussions over Irish politics, it’ll be interesting to see if “Mystic Mac” will make an attempt at becoming a politician one day. For now, he’s gearing up for a return to the Octagon at some point in 2024.
