Conor McGregor Claims Khabib Nurmagomodov Defeat Doesn’t Mean The War Is Lost

Conor McGregor Posted An Interesting Message On His Instagram Account

Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov had a pretty interesting fight at the main event of UFC 229. Khabib dominated in the first two rounds. He even rocked Conor after a devastating overhand right. The Notorious recovered in the third. He didn’t let Khabib take him down and demonstrated the real power of his stand-up skills. Yet, he was defeated in the fourth round via rear-naked choke.

Unfortunately, the event will be remembered for the post-fight riot. Khabib Nurmagomedov snapped after months of social media terror. He jumped the fence like a hooligan and started the fight with Dillon Danis. Later, one of Khabib’s teammates jumped inside the cage and sucker punched Conor McGregor. It quickly turned into one of the most terrible endings of the UFC event. Dana White even declined to give the belt to The Eagle due to “security reasons”.

Take a look at Conor’s Instagram post below.

We lost the match but won the battle. The war goes on.

Well, Khabib Nurmagomedov will have to fight NSAC (Nevada State Athletic Commission) and Dana White next. His wild rage might lead to the title stripe. It depends on whether NSAC will show mercy or not. But in the first place, Khabib must explain his actions. You can’t ignore the fact that Conor was trolling him for a very long period of time.

Yet, Conor McGregor could only benefit if Khabib gets stripped. Tony Ferguson could be promoted to the UFC Lightweight Interim champion. The Irishman might face El Cucuy in the next title shot.

Let’s see what happens next. Maybe Khabib will have to surrender the title. Dana White was always defending Conor McGregor so it is hard to expect he won’t support The Notorious this time. Conor’s post could mean two things. The first, I am back after 2 years. The second, threat is eliminated. What do you think, why did The Notorious post this status?
