Colby Covington Discusses Exchange With ‘One-Eyed Nerd’s Face’ Michael Bisping

Controversial Colby Covington earned the interim title with a unanimous-decision win over ex-lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos (28-9 MMA, 17-7 UFC) in UFC 225’s pay-per-view co-headliner in Chicago. After the fight, “Chaos” made the usual winner’s appearance on the FS1 post-event show, where Michael Bisping was working the desk. Covington was calling out the panelists as “haters.” and Bisping fired back at ‘Chaos’ for being a ‘prick’ and resulted in a heated exchange.

In the recent episode of ‘The MMA Hour’ Covington discussed his side of a story and said Bisping was trying to steal his moment from him.

“He’s an unprofessional little one-eyed twerp,” Covington said (via MMA Fighting). “Every time the UFC brings me out, I’m always professional, I’m always on time. I make weight. There’s never any issues with Colby ‘Chaos’ Covington. I always do the right things.”

“What he did on Saturday night was a complete joke,” he continued. “That was my time and my moment and he was trying to steal my spotlight. He knew the light was so bright — and usually he can’t see out of that one eye. But my spotlight was so bright, he just couldn’t help but try and jump in.”

“It’s crazy, he forgot what happened from American forefather Dan Henderson. You would think he got humbled from the last time he messed around with the red, white and blue. I’ll come across the pond and break that little, one-eyed nerd’s face.”

Moreover, ‘chaos’ isn’t expecting that Bisping will continue his hosting duties when UFC’s new broadcast rights with ESPN starts in 2019.

“You want to take shots at me from the Fox Sports desk; there’s a reason that they’re moving over to ESPN. He ain’t going over there.”
