Aldo’s Coach Andre Pederneiras Would Like To See Aldo Vs McGregor 2

Nova Uniao Head Coach Andre Pederneiras Hopes For Aldo Vs McGregor 2

Jose Aldo had ups and downs in the last few fights. After two losses to Max Holloway, he returned to the road of glory defeating Jeremy Stephens via first-round TKO. His coach Andre Pederneiras hopes for the rematch with Conor McGregor. He also adds the first fight didn’t show the true power ratio between the fighters. (via bloodyelbow.com)

“We can try to angle for a rematch, because I really did think it was unfair and I think most people thought it was unfair that there wasn’t a rematch,” Pederneiras told MMAjunkie. “But, as far as Conor goes, he isn’t to blame. He may have turned it down, but the UFC had the power to tell him to fight. And they didn’t.”

“I think the first fight didn’t really represent what the fight could have been – unfortunately for all of those who wanted to see it. So I’d choose Conor. Even though I don’t have anything against him.”

As well as you remember, Conor McGregor knocked Jose Aldo out after only 13 seconds at UFC 194. It was the quickest title shot KO in the history of UFC! The Scarface attacked with a left hook which was countered by a tremendous left cross that sent him to sleep.

Conor trash-talked Aldo a lot during the build-up campaign. He even said few bad words against Brazil, his home country. Yet, Andre Pederneiras believes Mystic Mac is a good guy inside of his heart. He describes him as a showman and an artist who respects everybody. Andre also adds The Notorious talks a bunch of crap to get attention and promote UFC. Nova Uniao head coach even justifies his hooligan bus attack!

“I think, behind that ‘artist,’ he’s a good person, who doesn’t represent the things he says,” Pederneiras said of McGregor. “He talks a bunch of crap to get attention and sell. Outside of that, no, he’ll respect you whenever you meet up with him.”

“I think that was that ‘artist,’ the way I see it. He knows he’s going to have to fight (Khabib Nurmagomedov) at some point. Since he knows that, why not start creating some chaos and start promoting it?”

Now it’s all up to Dana White. Will he fulfill Andre Pederneiras’ wish? Would you like to see Aldo Vs McGregor 2? Don’t forget Jose Aldo announced retirement after his UFC contract expires. He has only three fights left!
