Cindy Dandois fought while two-months pregnant, out of Carano fight

Fighters get put on medical suspension all the time after getting knocked out. That’s a normal occurence in MMA. It’s not often that you hear about a fighter getting put on suspension for getting knocked up though. Looks like Cindy Dandois is one of the few to experience this, and won’t be fighting Gina Carano in June afterall. Phooey. Roy Nelson appears to be pregnant all the time when he fights and it doesn’t seem to bother him. I guess it’s a little different though when your baby bump actually has a human life growing inside of it and isn’t just filled with Whopper juniors and french fries.

According to an Ariel Helwani report on Versus.com, medical test results revealed that Cindy is probably about three and a half months pregnant. This means that she was very likely pregnant when she fought just a few weeks ago. Sure, the starting age for kids in MMA is getting younger and younger, but barely past the zygote stage may be a bit extreme. You have to let a kid enjoy his carefree amniotic fluid floating months as an embryo before you start making him drill takedowns and submission defense. Stop the madness and just let the embryos be embryos for crying out loud. Here’s a clip of Cindy’s possibly pregnant fight from March 19th: [source]
