Chael Sonnen says he's going to make $10 million fighting Jon Jones at UFC 159

We’re not entirely sure what race baiting is. Perhaps it’s when a fisher only uses bait of a certain race to attract fish. It also could be the fisher is using a specific bait to attract an equally specific race of fish. If that’s the case, then I don’t understand why everyone is accusing Chael Sonnen of this ‘race baiting.’ The dude isn’t even a fisherman — and if he was, he’s surely too inexperienced to cull through bait shops to find one specific race. A few days ago an article on Deadspin accused Sonnen of being one of these mysterious ‘race baiters,’ but then offered no follow-up explanation what it truly is. We think the term ‘race bait’ is just another way of saying ‘making a ridiculous amount of money for a title shot that isn’t even in your weight class.’

Today on ESPN’s ‘Dan Le Betard Show,’ Sonnen disclosed that he actually made $8 million fighting Anderson Silva and he plans on making a record $10 million this weekend in his UFC 159 title fight against Jon Jones.
