Brian Foster has endured some cringe worthy injuries and is out of UFC 129

I’m a fairly injury prone person, but it’s all due to me just plain being clumsy and not paying attention. Somedays I have the attention span of a 7 year old. I have broken my toes by running down carpeted stairs in socks, given myself black eyes from opening doors into my face and sprained my ankle jumping up and tripping over an endtable during UFC 109. At any given moment there is a bruise on some part of my body. All of those injuries are nothing compared to what Brian Foster has endured in the last year of his life.

First he broke his leg playing a pickup basketball game about this time last year. Ouch. The next injury he incurred is probably going to make you fall to the floor, grab your manparts and curl up into a ball writhing in pain. (If you are squeamish you might consider just skipping this next sentence altogether.) Foster recieved an extremely devastating kick to the groin during training about six weeks ago which caused one of his testicles to burst. Yes, I did say ‘burst’. The injury was so bad the doctor had to surgically remove the obliterated sperm factory. Please, go ahead and take a moment to recover from that news before you read further.

Now, according to MMAJunkie.com, Brian Foster has been pulled from his UFC 129 bout with Sean Pierson because a standard athletic commission MRI revealed he has a brain hemmorhage. Doctors think this hemmorhage might have taken place during a sparring session Foster had just a couple of days prior to the test.  If that were me, all that bursting and breaking  would probably make me have second thoughts about getting into the cage and getting pummelled. Brian Foster is a guy that apparently goes hard in the paint and ball(s) to the wall though and still wants to get in there and fight. Heal up soon, Brian Foster. [source]
