Bobby Green’s nickname is ‘King’ because he believes that a monarchical system of government is better than a democracy. The next time we run into the former Strikeforcer, we’ll ask him to elaborate his views on kingship and serfdom. Just know that Bobby ‘King’ Green is a big supporter of feudalism and he showed it at UFC 156 by fulfilling his legal obligation of submitting Jacob Volkmann in the third round. It was a late Christmas present that Volkmann never saw coming. That’s a joke since, you know, Volkmann’s nickname is Christmas. The dude has a thing for Christian holidays.

After his triumphant UFC debut, we caught up with Bobby Green to get his take on his performance and he informed us that winning or losing matters very little — an exciting fight is the most important thing in MMA.
