Top heavyweights collide!
Russian powerhouse Sergei Pavlovich takes on Curtis ‘Razor’ Blaydes in the main event of UFC Vegas 71. Both men will look to prove they deserve a future title shot against the champ Jon Jones in this pivotal heavyweight fight.
Round 1:
Pavlovich lands a few powerful punches on Blaydes but the unfazed Blaydes has no problem retuning shots of his own. Blaydez works behind the jab and leg kick. Pavlovich knocks down Blaydes who gets up quickly. Pavlovich blitzes Blaydes against the cage. Blaydes shoots for a takedown but the Russian stuffs it. Pavlovich continues to crack Blaydes with his punches. Pavlovich tee’s off on Blaydes, putting all the power in his punches which sends Blaydes tumbling to the ground. After a few more punches, the referee calls off the action.
