Curtis Blaydes believes Francis Ngannou should take up boxing next.
Blaydes is coming off a second-round TKO win over Chris Daukaus at UFC Columbus this past weekend.
He has since called for an interim title shot with Ngannou currently on the sidelines after undergoing knee surgery.
However, it remains to be seen if Blaydes will get the shot given that he’s already lost to Ngannou twice and decisively as well.
One thing that could help his case is if Ngannou decides not to sign a new contract with the UFC and goes on to box like he’s been teasing for a while.

And as far as Blaydes is concerned, that’s exactly what “The Predator” should do. That’s because he’d do the same thing.
“If I’m him, I’m just going to box,” Blaydes said on The MMA Hour. “They make a lot of money, and he would make a lot of money against [Anthony] Joshua or Tyson [Fury] or Deontay [Wilder]. He would be rich. So if I’m him, I would let my knee heal up and get ready to box.”
