Blame Dana. UFC president says it was his job to stop epic Rousey vs. Holm weigh-in brawl

That’ll put some butts in the seats. The UFC 193 weigh-ins went from 0 to 100 real quick and the MMA world can thank Dana White for it. If White wasn’t asleep at the wheel maybe we don’t get to see Ronda Rousey rush at Holly Holm.

Rewatch the video, Rousey goes from weighing-in and grinning to right in Holm’s grill in a matter of seconds. The funny thing is that Holm didn’t back down. All the prefight hype surrounding UFC 193 was either about it being a massive stadium show or the fact that four women were in the main and co-main event spots.

Now thanks to weigh-in altercation between Rousey and Holm, the MMA world really wants to see these two women punch each other in the face. Thank you based MMA weigh-in Gods and Dana White to.

Speaking with Submission Radio White replays what happened at the UFC 193 weigh-ins

“Ronda went after her and it seemed like they were jockeying for position, either on the outside or whatever and then Holly’s hand was here and then just, Holly just hit her. And then it was on, But there’s no – it’s my job to make sure that that doesn’t happen and that they don’t put their hands on each other, and apparently I didn’t do my job today.”
