BJ Penn reconfirms his earlier confirmations that he is indeed still retired and plans on staying that way

It’s been almost six months since Nick Diaz retired BJ Penn in the Mandalay Bay, and since then it seems like BJ is asked on a weekly basis if he’s planning on coming out of his ‘retirement’. I have to admit, even I thought he would be out of this retirement/staycation by now, especially with the whole Cesar Gracie feud from a few months ago, but here we are again, getting yet another confirmation from BJ that he is indeed still retired. Unfortunately, the longer the Prodigy sits out the longer it seems like this retirement is going to stick.

BJ’s latest acknowledgement of his former career continuing to be over comes from a Norwegian website Nettavisen.

“I don’t miss being punched in the face. I dunno, I have no plans of ever fighting again. I don’t miss it.”

“I am done. I will never fight again”.

Bummer.
