For all of you out there that believe Diego Sanchez won that fight against BJ Penn last night (Cecil Peoples), the Fightmetric numbers are in. Diego attempted 108 strikes, he just landed 8 of those. As far as take-downs, Diego attempted 27 and completed zero. There’s always room for error so let’s say 100 of the strikes landed were just optical illusions, Penn would have still landed 500% more strikes that Diego. But let’s get real here, Shogun won that fight.
