Biaggio Ali Walsh, the grandson of heavyweight boxing legend Muhammad Ali, made his third walk to the PFL Smart Cage on Friday night for a clash with Travell Miller.
After coming up short in his mixed martial arts debut, Ali Walsh has knocked off his last three opponents, all by way of first-round knockouts. Looking like the second coming of his iconic grandfather, Ali Walsh faced a tough test in 3-2 fighter Travell Miller. Making his PFL debut, Miller looked to quell the hype that Ali Walsh has enjoyed since making his own promotional debut last year.
Round 1
Ali Walsh immediately comes out firing the leg kick and eats one in return from Miller. Ali Walsh is very aggressive in the early going, initiating a clinch, but Miller shrugs it off with ease. Ali Walsh is swinging wildly, but Miller evades. Miller throws a leg kick, and Ali Walsh responds with a nasty right hand. Miller attempts to fire back, but Ali Walsh unloads a flurry of strikes against the fence and lands a looping left hook that drops Miller. Ali Walsh follows his opponent to the ground, dropping a series of strikes that puts Miller to sleep, forcing the stoppage.
