It’s Bane vs. Gabe in Misfits Boxing.
Gabe Silva, the son of the legendary Anderson Silva, returns to the ring at MF & DAZN X Series 9. Coming off of a successful pro debut back in April, Silva looks to improve to 2-0 in 2023 and make a name for himself when he crosses paths with Ben ‘The Bane’ Davis.
Davis, 23, enters his first-ever boxing match this weekend. This isn’t the MMA play-by-play commentator’s first rodeo, however. ‘The Bane’ had his grappling debut in May, being tapped out by Brad Boulton at Fury Grappling 7.
The social media sensation will try to shock the world against Silva, while the son of ‘The Spider’ attempts to shut him up for good.
The 170lb boxing bout goes down from the Vertu Motors Arena in Newcastle, England.
Round 1:
Davis pumps out the jab. Silva throws to the body. Silva lands a right hand over the top. Silva lands a combo of strikes. Silva knocks down Davis with a check left hook. Davis gets back up to his feet after a few seconds on the ground. Davis retaliates with punches to the head. Silva keeps up the pressure.
They clinch with Silva towering over Davis. Davis works the body. Davis swings wildly. With almost 10 seconds left in the round, Silva fires and knocks Davis down to the ground with another brutal left hook. The referee immediately calls the action after the second knockdown and a towel is thrown from Davis’ corner.
Silva picks up the second win of his boxing career.
