Dan Henderson’s got major grappling creds. He wrestled NCAA (Cal State Fullerton and ASU) and competed twice in the Olympic Games as a Greco-Roman wrestler. But, I placed second in my high school wrestling league, so I’m not sweating it either.
Despite his grappling pedigree, Hendo’s more apt to smash your face in with his devastating hands than take you down. We’re not complaining – he’s one of the most entertaining and dangerous strikers in MMA (and almost 41 years old, which is amazing). He’s fighting Fedor Emelianenko on July 30, 2011 at Strikeforce. It will be brutal. We like that.
