New footage from the hotel lobby altercation between UFC Austin headliners Arman Tsarukyan and Bobby Green has emerged.
On Thursday, Green posted on Instagram claiming that Tsarukyan and his team ambushed him while he was finishing up some media obligations ahead of his co-main event matchup with Jalin Turner on Saturday night. At the time, we only knew what Green told us. Since then, Tsarukyan has released his own footage of the incident, giving us a clearer picture of what went down between the two lightweight standouts.

In the video, Tsarukyan approaches a seated Bobby Green and says, “You’re talking sh*t about me.” Green repeats Tsarukyan’s words, then tells Tsarukyan to “get your people out of my face.”
“We can do one on one,” Tsarukyan says, to which Green replies, “We can do whatever you want to do.”
After a few more moments of the pair jawing back and forth, Green appears to shove Tsarukyan’s shoulder. Tsarukyan responded by grabbing Green’s neck before being immediately separated. Tsarukyan and his team then headed to the elevators but returned to confront Green again when they heard that ‘King’ was still hanging around the lobby.
Bobby Green can be heard repeatedly shouting, “You started it” during the incident.
Seeds Have Been Sown for Bobby Green vs. Arman Tsarukyan to Happen Inside the Octagon
Tsarukyan’s issue with Green likely stems from an interview Green did with The Schmo ahead of UFC Austin where ‘King’ made some disparaging remarks regarding Tsarukyan’s style of fighting.
With both being prominent names in the lightweight division, we could potentially see the two compete inside the Octagon one day. But first, they’ll have to get past their respective opponents in The Lone Star State. In the co-headliner, Green will face short-notice replacement Jalin Turner after his originally scheduled opponent, Dan Hooker, was forced to withdraw due to an arm injury.
Tsarukyan will look to continue his climb up the lightweight ladder with a main event clash against perennial contender Beneil Dariush.
