Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have been detained in Romania but that act came as no surprise to him or anyone else.

Over the past year or so kickboxer and internet personality Andrew Tate has been at the forefront of controversy. Tate is a known chauvinist and is hated by many people. He is unapologetically sexist and has now been detained by Romanian police on suspicion of rape, human trafficking, and forming an organized crime group per Fox News. The arrest took place on Thursday and the pair along with two others were held in custody.

“The four suspects … appear to have created an organized crime group with the purpose of recruiting, housing and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content meant to be seen on specialised websites for a cost,” prosecutors said in a statement to Fox. “They would have gained important sums of money.”

Tate has been under investigation for criminal activity since April, but has been traveling the world and hobnobbing with celebrities, some of which are prominent in the UFC.

Andrew Tate predicted that his arrest would be coming soon

Tate was a guest on The Nelk Boys podcast months ago and stated that he knew he would be arrested. Not a big surprise as he has been involved in criminal activity.

“The truth is this, so I knew it was coming. I absolutely knew it was coming because of how orchestrated it was,” he said of being canceled. “The only thing, I’ll state this at the beginning, the only reason I’m upset by being canceled is because I’ve expired one of my lives because first you get canceled, then they make up a reason to put you in jail, and if that fails they kill you, so now I’m down to my last two lives, which is also why while I’m answering this question, I’m still being careful how I’m answering. That’s scary because they’ve now given me the warning and I’m still running my mouth.”

Tate will be due in court on Friday according to a CNN report. Six women claimed to have been sexually exploited by Tate or one of the other suspects.
