“Dude, really, everything has been among my managers, Ed (Smith), Joinha and Strikeforce. I do not know exactly if they wanted to keep me there or not. But we came to the conclusion that it would be better to participate there, because I had lost, was my last fight in the contract … It was not because of the show, I had a contract for five fights with them. He had made two and three fights in Dream/Strikeforce, and they are working together. It was my fifth fight, I had to do these five fights until March 2011, and ended the fight when they came to Ed and Joinha and asked if they would sign the contract because it was already open, I could go elsewhere and such. My managers have decided to take this event (TUF tryouts) and we try to go in the (TUF) house. I hope to be soon in the UFC.”
