Amanda wants to speak with the boss

Shortly after being called out by Julianna Pena for a trilogy fight at UFC 307, “Lioness” appears to be flirting with the idea of making a return. In an Instagram post, an energetic and enthusiastic Nunes sang the praises “Dana White, please call” and “I miss you so much.”

Though it looked like a joke, Nunes was clearly letting everybody know that she is just waiting for what the UFC thinks of a third match between her and “The Venezuelan Vixen.”

Despite being linked to a showdown with soaring UFC women’s bantamweight contender Kayla Harrison, Pena opted to set her sights in Nunes after reclaiming her title at UFC 307. For Pena, it’s essential to settle the score with “Lioness” now that they are 1-1 in their first two title fights.

However, “The Venezuelan Vixen” also doesn’t rule out the possibility of facing Harrison. As per the reigning champ, she might say yes to a fight with Kayla if Nunes would decline and continue ducking her.

As it stands, Nunes has been retired for more than a year now. She last fought professionally at UFC 289 when she defended her title against Irene Aldana.
