Amanda Lemos took on Marina Rodriguez in the headlining bout of UFC Vegas 64 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. She went into the outing looking to extend her winning run after beating Michelle Waterson-Gomez in her last contest in July at UFC on ABC 3.

Round 1
Rodriguez opens with a low kick. Both women feeling each other out in the early seconds. Rodriguez is on the outside. Lemos lands a jab. Lemos goes in for a low kick but clashes with Rodriguez’s counter low kick and goes down. The feeling out process continues in similar fashion. Rodriguez goes in and Lemos clinches temporarily. Rodriguez goes for a knee to the body and Lemos goes for the clinch and gets a takedown but ends up on the bottom.
Round 2
Rodriguez opens with a straight kick down the middle. Rodriguez on the outside goes in and eats a big counter right from Lemos. They get in the clinch. Lemos turns and and trips Rodriguez down. Lemos gets her back and goes for a submission attempt. Lemos loses position and gets back on top. Lemos working with short elbows. Rodriguez has her in half guard. Lemos racking up a lot of ground control time.
Round 3
Nice right-hand timed by Rodriguez. Lemos lands a big right and then a jab right behind it. Lemos counters with a huge right hook that rocks Rodriguez. Lemos jumped on her with a flurry of punches to score a TKO.
