The ante is being raised to the point where we will probably see a double three-second knockout in the next 70ish years, which is awesome. Sure, you may say: “I don’t plan on watching MMA for the next 70 or so years, Jason. I will surely be dead by then. The best I can hope for is to give my children a good upbringing in life so that they may see a three-second double knockout in their lifetime, that is the American dream, after all.” Listen, I don’t disagree with what you are saying, mystery person, but a scientist already made the fascinating claim that the first person to live to 150 is already alive, and with cybernetic implants that are coming sooner rather than later, we will one day live to 1000. So living through enough fights to see the three-second double KO is a reality for many of us.
