Alexander Gustafsson says he’s pretty excited to shock the world at UFC 165

A strong Gustafsson of wind.

If someone uses that headline after Alexander Gustafsson beats Jon Jones at UFC 165 then instruct that person that he/she should never write another headline from now until the English language deteriorates into a potpourri of emoticons and short-hand. Of course all of this is contingent on Gustafsson beating Jones — which is something that has the same probability as Canelo defeating Mayweather this weekend in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand.

We all would be excited if Jon Jones was dethroned from his reign as the UFC light heavyweight champion. It’s not that we vehemently dislike Jones. People just love to see upsets. Well, upsets involving fighters not named Anderson Silva.

Rebellion Media caught up with Alexander Gustafsson to get his take on his upcoming title shot, and he seems rather excited to shock the world at his imminent victory.
