Henry Cejudo was thoroughly entertained by Saturday night’s 10-round scrap between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz.

Emanating from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, ‘The Problem Child’ earned his seventh career win, defeating the ex-UFC star after 30 minutes of entertaining action. Nate Diaz was his usual self, trash-talking and showboating, but in the end, it wasn’t enough to sway the scorecards in his favor.

Offering his take on the matchup in real time via his YouTube channel, Henry Cejudo, was enthused by the performance of both men, but ultimately saw it the same way practically everyone else did, with Jake Paul coming out on top.

“It was a good fight. It was an entertaining fight, but yeah, man. I think ‘Snake’ Paul won,” Cejudo said. “It’s hard though, but was an entertaining fight, dude. Jake Paul edged it out. I’d like to see Jake Paul with a semi-good amateur. That kind of type of level which is high level for amateur boxing.”

What is the Next Move for Nate Diaz?

‘Triple C’ hopes to see the two combat sports icons run it back inside the PFL Smart Cage next year, a very real possibility based on the post-fight interaction between Paul and Diaz.

“Let’s bring it to the PFL, ladies and gentlemen,” Cejudo added. “Nate Diaz, you know, get your money and do it again inside the cage. And then go after Conor McGregor.”

Nate Diaz has made it clear that a return to the UFC was his top priority once he handled his business with Jake Paul in the Lone Star State. However, a $10 million offer to fight Jake Paul in the Professional Fighters League may change things. But if the ‘Stockton Samurai’ sticks to his guns and heads back to Las Vegas, he will likely look to land a long-awaited trilogy bout with ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor.

Would you like to see Diaz step into the Smart Cage for a rematch with Jake Paul in mixed martial arts, or should the TUF alumnus head back to the Octagon for a final showdown with Conor McGregor?
