I can’t stress enough just how cool Bungie’s upcoming game Destiny looks. It’s their first big project outside of the Halo universe and away from the protective womb of Microsoft since they’ve become a household name and many will have crazy expectations from them. That being said, it looks like they’ll have no problem handling that kind of pressure, especially after working on the Halo games for as long as they did.
Destiny is going to be a story-driven MMO that will be launching on all major platforms (just announce the PC version already, c’mon) in 2014 and will aim to just be, well, you know, kind of awesome. This 12 minutes of gameplay has been floating around since the E3 PlayStation 4 demonstration, but now we have it with commentary from three of Bungie’s artists who worked on the game. It’s always cool to hear what an artist has to think about their work in motion.
