Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest rock bands of all time. It’s undeniable. Their music transcends time and is adored by generations of fans young and old. Many would attribute their success to guitarist and producer Jimmy Page, who’s written some of the most memorable guitar riffs of all time. Stairway to Heaven is still being played by wannabe casanovas with guitars trying to win the hearts of dames all over the world. Jimmy Page is just awesome like that and he could probably make an appearance in the Thor movies if he wanted to (we think).
Loki actually looks a lot like Page in this trailer for the upcoming Thor: The Dark World. Could this be a hint that the legendary guitarist is going to have a cameo? We’d like to think so but we can’t be sure. Thor: The Dark World isn’t out until November 8th so we’ll just have to keep speculating until then, because we’re Middle Easy and we like to perpetuate rumors.
In this new Thor: The Dark World Trailer, Loki shows up looking like he’s about to unleash a guitar solo or a mud shark on a groupie, looking almost exactly like a young Jimmy Page. Check it out and tell us we’re wrong.
