Michael Bisping and Kamaru Usman wants to see Francis Ngannou taking on either Tyson Fury in a rematch or Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury has options
Speaking on his YouTube channel, “The Count” pointed out a few options for “The Gypsy King” following his tough loss to Usyk. According to Bisping, Fury could pick between a rematch with Usyk or the two logical opponents in front of him – Anthony Joshua and Ngannou.
Bisping suggests that while a showdown with Joshua sounds good, Fury could better redeem himself by running it back with “The Predator.”
“If this fight doesn’t go down at some point, it’ll be a travesty, it really will and everybody wants to see that so if he doesn’t fight Usyk, then of course, there’s a fight with Anthony Joshua but that’s a tough one because if you lose this to Joshua, another fight with Usyk? Forget about that.”
“Of course, you could have a rematch with Francis Ngannou,” he added. “We saw that fight, he won that fight, he scraped by that fight, he got dropped in that fight, he didn’t give a good account of himself in that fight and he kind of embarrassed himself in that fight against the guy that had only had one boxing fight. We saw what Joshua did to Francis Ngannou so potentially, there’s another money fight down the line.”
Kamaru vouches for Usyk vs. Ngannou
On the other hand, Usman is another former UFC champion who weighed in on the subject. For “The Nigerian Nightmare,” it’s a great time for Ngannou to bounce back following his back-to-back losses courtesy of Joshua and Fury, respectively. That said, Usman urges Usyk to explore the idea of facing the former UFC heavyweight champion.
“I know it’s crazy and I know everyone is going to try and say something about it, but I would love to see (Usyk) fight a guy like Francis Ngannou,” Usman said. “Only for the sheer fact of, yes I want to see the level of skill here,” he added. “Yes he has schooled the other guys, but Francis is the biggest puncher out there and I want to see how Oleksandr Usyk is able to break a guy like that down.”

Usyk’s win over Fury saw him becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion. As it stands, “The Gypsy King” has yet to call for a rematch with Usyk, while Ngannou is expected to make his PFL debut in his next fight.
