Jon Jones remained UFC 205-pound champ after a very close split decision win over Thiago “Marreta” Santos in the main event of UFC 239 PPV (pay-per-view) event, which went down last night (Saturday, July 6, 2019) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Despite Thiago Santos was hurt badly, he really gave the reigning defending undisputed champ a hard time. The Brazilian challenger landed a lot of strong low kicks and even punched Jones to the head hard on a few occasions. Look at the official scorecards below!

Mike Bell and Derek Cleary scored this contest in the favor of Jon Jones, while the third judge gave advantage to the Brazilian challenger. It was a very close contest. Thiago fought until the end, and he deserves all the respect.
