An intriguing welterweight matchup is in work.
According to BJPenn’s Chris Taylor, former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos and rising Kamaru Usman are in works for this fall.
I’m told that the UFC is currently working on booking a welterweight fight between recent interim title challenger Rafael dos Anjos and surging division contender Kamaru Usman for early this fall. What do you folks think of the matchup?

RDA is coming off a decision loss to Colby Covington in the co-main event of UFC 225 from Chicago. Before this loss, Dos Anjos was riding on three consecutive victories at 170-pounds including wins over the likes of former champion Robbie Lawler, Neil Magny and Tarec Saffiedine.
Kamaru Usman most recently picked up a decision victory over veteran Demian Maia at UFC Fight Night 129 this past May in Chile and holds incredible 13- 1 including eight-straight in the UFC.
