These are uncertain times, my friends. With Zuffa purchasing Strikeforce who knows if fan made MMA videos are as dead as MMA in Japan. It was great while it lasted, but Genghis Con, Kahl-One, Caposa, Layzie, Warhendo33, Machineman, Nicktheface, Lookoutwhale and many others that I’m forgetting will just have to go and make tons of money in Hollywood since they are left with nothing to place on a linear timeline here. It’s a crying shame, but luckily the super moon has granted us a miracle. CagePotato.com and Huck Blade at Neonbarfights.com have combined forces to give us Before They Were Stars, a look back to the first fights of some guys that you might recognize from that darn Ultimate Fightin stuff you always watch. Zuffa doesn’t own this footage, yet.
Besides being a great video, it’s also a study in poor camerawork, shoddy production values and VHS degradation.
