It’s official. The infamous ‘sonnench‘ Twitter account confirmed by Chael Sonnen as being real and then immediately denied its authenticity does indeed belong to Chael Sonnen. Over the weekend, Twitter has verified his account which essentially means that there is undeniable proof that Chael Sonnen is in control of his Twitter account. Here’s a direct quote regarding the authentication process at Twitter from the site:
“Any account with a ‘Verified’ is a verified account. Twitter is beta testing solutions to establish authenticity of well known accounts so users can trust that the accounts they follow are legitimate. When viewing verified accounts, Twitter users know that tweets coming from well known personalities, organizations, government agencies, and others on Twitter are the real thing!“
Now we can all rest at night knowing such tweets as “Ed, pray to whatever Demon effigy you prance and dance in front of with your piglet tribe of savages that I decide not to CRUCIFY you” and “Anderson, you are going to be on your back more than a pornstar with a mortgage” are coming straight from Chael Sonnen’s fingertips.
