This year’s Assassin’s Creed Unity might not be setting the world ablaze with thoughts of revolution and how great the series is, but Ubisoft will march forward with next year’s installment, just like we all assumed that they would. It doesn’t seem like they are willing to announce it just yet, but that didn’t stop Kotaku from getting their hands on a “target gameplay footage” video and the game is set in Victorian London and will be titled “Assassin’s Creed Victory.”
Ubisoft Quebec, who have mostly served as backup in major Assassin’s Creed titles or worked on ports to other systems, will be the lead on this project, giving Ubisoft Montreal a bit of time to stop and catch their breath after the disappointments from Assassin’s Creed Unity.
There also won’t be a second Assassin’s Creed title next year like there was this year with Assassin’s Creed Rogue. That means if you still don’t have a current generation console by next year and you are a big Assassin’s Creed fan that it’ll be time to upgrade.
