Reporter goes head-to-head with Dana White, says his claims UFC beats NFL are 'bullsh*t'

Keep in mind that at the time of this article being published on MiddleEasy, the UFC media lunch-in is still taking place and these tweets will most likely expand as the day goes by. However it's a must to get this conversation up as soon as possible. We don't know who the reporter that is challenging on the numbers and claims the UFC has put out throughout the years, but he seems to be pretty bold. Check out the rundown from our bud @Erik_Fontanez of the verbal discourse.

Update: Reporter that is calling out Dana is TJ Simers of the OC Register

Zeus @MiddleEasy

Zeus is represented by Galactus in his avatar image because he has an immature obsession with Marvel when they went all sci-fi back in the mid 80s. I'm the creator of MiddleEasy and Nickelodeon's The Adventures of Pete and Pete. Just kidding about the Nickelodeon stuff, but that would be really cool.

Don't mean to bury you in facts, but it's spelled Simers, one -m-, not Simmers.

Can't wait to hear the audio.

""Why can't you get into New York?" I took a deep breath."

I would have taken the same deep breath.
Imagine having to explain Politics 101 while already enraged.

Dana has helped this sport grow but i think its starting to get to a point where he needs to step back, especially from the media, i mean just 10 min i read an article where hes calling roy a moron.eventuall y fighters will get sick of this treatment, just imagine if 5 years from now all the top fighters started fighting in bellator and it is a real possibility since viacom has the money to pay them what they want.

Wow, what an old coot. That's the shortest, most one-sided non-journalisti c article I've ever read. (edit: I should say it was a decent length, but only fragmented quotes gives the impression he's breezing over anything that would have been good)

There are plenty of salient arguments to be had concerning each of the criticisms he seems to have raised (via someone else's Twitter account), but it's a shame the guy didn't have the fortitude or intellect to actually pursue any single issue when he had his own free media outlet.

People who hate DFW have no sense of humor.

If it were Donald Trump or any other president or CEO, they would have ended the lunch early or kicked SImers out. For all the accusations that Dana is a tyrannical monster, truth is Dana couldn't help but try to engage the guy because he can't stand to have anyone badmouth his work. If he were as unforgiving as other company heads, we would have never heard about this conversation.

British Petroleum practically raised the previously-acce pted "sea level" by dumping an ocean's worth of oil into the Gulf of Mexico and they couldn't be bothered for an interview with anyone who gives a shit about either human or planetary health.

Bitch if you want, but I can't help but laugh when Dana gets upset. As far as company men go, he's about as human as any of us. Fickle? Sure, but aren't we all?

Haha. "Bury him with facts".
