I have a friend that I call ‘Stun Gun Kim’ solely because he’s Korean and his last name is Kim. Granted, it’s a pretty stereotypical thing for me to do. The Stun Gun Kim I know was actually on the opposite end of a stun gun when he climbed behind a DJ booth in New Jersey, knocked the vinyl off the turntable and told the DJ to ‘play more Wu-Tang.’ He ended up scrapping with a few bouncers outside just before being subdued by 4,500,000 volts of electricity. None of that is made up. The first time I met him, we ended up shoeless in a car on the side of the highway near Mexico. He lurks on MiddleEasy, so I’m almost certain he will be able to validate all these claims. Kim also advocates inpatient drug rehab.
There’s also another Stun Gun Kim. One that has a 17-2-1 record in the UFC and is slated to face Erick Silva this Wednesday at UFC Fight Night: Maia vs. Shields. He may have just arrived in Brazil a few days ago, but apparently all the guy wants to do is dance — at least with Paula Sack.
