Alex Pereira shared a short clip of his sons sparring sessions and fans were quick to react.

The Pereira genes

The reigning UFC light heavyweight champion had just defended his title once again after finishing Khalil Rountree at UFC 307. However, the work is not done yet as “Poatan” keeps himself and his sons busy in a gym that appears to be owned by Glover Teixeira.

In a recent social media post, Alex let fans have a glimpse of his two sons, Alessandro and Lohan Vidal Silva’s training. The young Pereira’s could be seen having a sparring session with their trainers and online fans were understandably intrigued to see if like father, like son.

Fans couldn’t help but compare

As expected, some online MMA fans were quick to compare the youngsters to their dad. In fact, some of them even think the kids will also dominate the UFC in the future like “Poatan.”

Here’s what some of the fans had to say:

“We got Khabib factories in Russia and now Pereira factories in Brazil 😂”

“They’ll be dangerous if they keep it up.”

“Pereira is seeing a good future”

“Nice to see Poatan passing the black magic to his family”

“Scary thought of them both running wild in ufc in 10 years time”

Apart from his sons, Alex’s younger sister Aline also proved that the devastating knockout power runs in the family. Just this past Friday, Aline knocked her opponent out in the first round at Karate Combat 50.
