Conor McGregor lost half a million dollars after betting on Renan Ferreira to beat Francis Ngannou at PFL Super Fights.

Conor believed Ngannou will get KO’d

McGregor has been fond of wagering large sums of his riches on some of the biggest MMA and boxing fights. However, his “Mystic Mac” prowess didn’t deliver this time as he lost a staggering $500K after betting against Ngannou in the former UFC heavyweight champion’s PFL debut this past Saturday.

Ahead of the fight, “Notorious” was very confident that Ferreira will finish “The Predator” and expected to win $1.7 million by putting his money on the Brazilian.

“The Mac is back with his winning bets. I have a 100% winning ratio on these bets. Ngannou is losing by KO tonight. 12/5 the Brazilian is to knock him out and I’m putting half a million on it and I’m going to win back $1.7million. That’s it. It’s a ruthless business and I’m a ruthless man,” McGregor said in a voice note on X.

Conor vows revenge

As most of us witnessed, Ngannou stopped Ferreira in the first round via knockout. That meant McGregor blew his half a million dollars.

However, the former UFC two-division champ is determined to reclaim his money and vowed to avenge his loss in the future.

“THE RICH GET RICHER I’LL GET THAT BACK,” McGrego wrote in a now-deleted tweet.

Prior to this wager, McGregor banked $1.2 million by betting on a KO/TKO ending for the Alex Pereira vs. Khalil Rountree Jr. title fight at UFC 307.
