Disgraced former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is done with the “internet b*llshit” with fellow former divisional champion Chuck Liddell, as the two have bickered back and forth through social media now for weeks.
Liddell recently stated that he would love to fight “Bones” and “teach him how to be a champion”. Jones obviously didn’t take too kindly to that. After several online jabs back and forth, Jones decided he was done with “The Iceman”:
@ChuckLiddell Brother I don’t have to be retired to be a legend first of all. And you talking to me about conducting my life outside the cage is just hysterical. Chuck we all know you’re far from innocent.

Liddell had commented at length on Jones championship run, which was derailed by multiple failed drug tests and other outside of the cage controversies.
Jones left Liddell with quite the parting shot, making suggestions to “The Iceman’s” own past drug use before declaring he was done bickering with the former champion:
i’m done with all this Internet bullshit for the time being, if you have something else to say to me I’ve already invited you down to Albuquerque. Take care old man Ladelle https://t.co/vf1bhXqTdK

Jones has remained sidelined as he works out a USADA suspension for a banned substance following his knockout win over rival Daniel Cormier at UFC 217. Meanwhile, Liddell just recently announced he’s coming out of an eight-year-long retirement to face Tito Ortiz for a third time, likely under Golden Boy Promotions.
Is the beef really over between “Bones” and “The Iceman”?
