Ironic moustaches are common these days on the mean streets of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. By definition, that would cease to make them ironic, but don’t tell that to freelance baristas crafting smiley faces out of cappuccino foam. Don Frye’s moustache is the original, the Levi’s 501, the Freedom Tower of facial-hair. To imitate it is difficult, to copy it is impossible, and to put it on screen in an action film is the only reason we’re writing about it. Actually, that’s not really true; Each day we take approximately twenty minutes and write about Don Frye’s moustache and how it has achieved GOAT status amongst MMA enthusiasts worldwide, but today, we can actually publish one of those rants because Don Frye is staring as Badass Brock in a film that can only be understood by pressing the ‘play button’ on the trailer below.
